• Tom Holland personally lobbied Disney CEO Bob Iger and Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman to resume negotiations after Sony initially announced Spider-Man would leave the MCU, ultimately leading to a new deal that kept the character in Marvel's cinematic universe.
• Disney agreed to co-finance 25% of the film in exchange for 25% of its profits while retaining merchandising rights, a significant change from Marvel Studios' original deal where they received only 5% of revenue.
